What is our soul? Do we have a soul? Many religions believe in a soul and an afterlife. Christianity and Islam consider it to be an immortal essence of a human being. Others suggest it is the breath that God breathed into us. Omnitologism shares this view, believing that the soul is immortal and utilizes physical forms to experience emotions and everything the earth has to offer.
But what is our soul exactly? Our soul is pure energy, a form of bright and white energy. It feels no pain, pleasure, sadness, or happiness among other emotions, but rather experiences a peaceful tranquility. This is why God created the Earth for our souls to experience both negative and positive emotions. Our soul must take a physical form to engage with life on Earth. The human body serves merely as a vessel for our souls, which enter it with predetermined experiences chosen before birth.
The soul can have numerous experiences on Earth, manifesting in various forms. Most souls choose to forgo the recollection of their past experiences in life, opting instead to begin anew, allowing the body to truly experience the fresh emotions tied to the journey it undertakes on Earth. This is why we have many questions: What is our purpose and the meaning of life? Is there an afterlife? Do we have a soul? Why do we suffer? Sometimes our souls decide to remember glimpses of past lives; that choice is left to each soul before embarking on its path. Our souls are interconnected and intertwined with other souls, allowing us to share in experiences.
The various forms that our soul may take are many; as previously stated, our soul is a pure form of energy. This is why the human body, animals, and other life forms use electrical impulses to control their bodies through the brain. God created these vessels for our soul to control and experience life! When we die, our brain ceases to send out these impulses as the soul has left the body. Some have seen a bright light leave a loved one, but if you have ever witnessed death, you can tell when that soul has left the body and now it is just an empty vessel. It has the choice to embark on another journey on earth, in any form, or go to the afterlife that we call heaven.
Omnitologism differs from other religions because it believes that any life form with a brain has a soul inside. If you have ever owned animals, each has its unique personalities, and some even look like their owners! This is because those souls decided before entering their bodies to experience this life journey together. Some say destiny or fate brought loved ones together, yet they dismiss the fact that free will was granted to us before our birth. However, the definitions of these two words imply that everything was planned before we were born!
This leads us into a discussion of why God allows suffering. Why do diseases, cancer, and horrible acts occur in various life forms? I hope that after reading this, you can see that our souls have chosen to experience both the negatives and positives that we often blame God for. God loved us enough to create this earth as our amusement park. We can choose the rides we take, from the easy to the scary ones. Our bodies may die, but our souls are immortal and will live on. While our bodies on earth may not understand the reasons, our souls truly do.
